Issues with my sbcglobal.net acct

I haven’t noticed issues until I had to use it for a back because I couldn’t use my yahoo acct. now I’m not getting a verification email because my sbcglobal.net isn’t going to my yahoo acct. I have read a lot of posts for the same thing but how can the be merged again?  Is the password the same as my yahoo? This is ridiculous I’ve had that acct I’m guessing for 20 or more years and now I know why when other people are saying they sent an email I never got them. What do I do and how?  I tried setting it up again but when I put “other” email it says it’s u able to use that. I hope this made sense I’m very frustrated right now because I really needed at the moment.

Hello @txtude,

I can understand how frustrating that is, let's address your issue.
If you have a standalone sbcglobal account, you'll have to login to that one to see you emails, as we no longer support merged accounts, which you can learn more info about by visiting our support page.
Are you able to login to your sbcglobal with no issues?
Please let us know.

No I can not log into my sbcglobal acct.  I go to att.net, as I've seen people that said to that, and login with that email, all it does is sent me straight to my yahoo.  Yes I am typing in @sbcglobal.net and it send me straight to yahoo.  This isn't good and why wouldn't you send emails out to people a head of time or something?  I have accts that use that and I can't get to them with out renewing, and sometimes having to pay more for accts that were open under that email.  Not sure that made sense at all.  This is so bad, I don't understand why yall can't fix this issue or why it was bothering you so much to just drop peoples email accts.  So now what do I do? again I've had that email for over 20 yrs.
