Email login loop (att/yahoo)

Not sure if anyone can help but thought I would try before giving up.  I have had a swbell.net account for 20yrs.  Recently my account would not login.  Was able to reset password and discovered the original issue stemmed from my password being changed without my knowledge.  I reset my password and yahoo asked to add a security key.  I did this and this is when the problems started.  Was not able to login to my email anymore.  Was getting the 652314 error loop.  Somehow this ended and I was able to either login to my email via the start.att.net page or logging into att.com going to my profile and then checking my email.  Now I can not login to either.  I either get put into a loop where att wants me to reset my password to no avail or I am told by the att page that the system is unavailable.  Any suggestions on how I can regain access to this account as I have been unable to login for 3 weeks now and would hate to lose this account.

Thanks for any help you can provide

Hello @sierrabryan,

Any email issues can raise a concern, especially when it has to do with your password and login!  We do have some great resources to help you out with this!

You can check out our Troubleshoot & Resolve Tool.  Here, you choose Internet tab > Email Setup and Repair.  Here, you can follow a troubleshooting flow to determine the best resolution for your email!  You can also troubleshoot accessing email.  If you are getting any Email errors, please visit here

Some additional things to review are about the merge between Yahoo and AT&T.  You can Transfer your Yahoo data and unmerge your AT&T and Yahoo email accounts.  This will describe recent changes about Yahoo and about merged AT&T and Yahoo email accounts.

If you need any further help, please don’t hesitate to contact us back!
