care code 205.2 (LU003) Help!

Today I was asked to log into my att.net email account. (I get this message every two weeks and with my saved password I get right back in.)

Today I got this code and was told that I have tried to log in too many times unsuccessfully but this is not true! I got the message the very first time I tried to log in today. My password has not changed.

Is this a real code??

Is this a scam or a virus?

How can I get back into my email??

We are here to help you get back into your email, @rachelkosoy.

Have you tried clearing your Cache and cookies on your browser?

Have you reset your password?

Here is more information on how to troubleshoot your email.

We recommend that you reset your password for your email, as this may resync everything on our end. You may also want to clear your cache and cookies on your browser, because this will get rid of anything affecting the webpage to load properly.

Let us know if this helps.

I had this EXACT scenario happen to me too! I was out of town and not even logged into my computer; logged in the first time with the correct information and received that same error code. Something is definitely not right! Cannot reset password because I'm kicked out of my account. Please advise.

After HOURS of trying to figure this out, I finally was able to reset password at  att.com/myatt using my established security questions with a user ID. I DO find it odd that I was randomly kicked out of my account and that someone else experienced the exact same situation as me. But thank you for your assistance.

Please, allow me to translate: after you've done a(Edited per community guidelines)olutely nothing wrong, ATT kicks you off your account for, again, a(Edited per community guidelines)olutely nothing that you've done; but you will get some (Edited per community guidelines) message with some high falutin' "code" that sounds, ooh, all "technical", and makes it sound like YOU did something wrong. Then you have to spend hours and hours seeking help, scouring the internet for answers, clearing cache and cookies (whatever that means), and resetting your password. This may or not work.

Are you too busy to waste all this time? Don't like it? Tough. You depend on your e-mail, and have to have it. And even though they've no doubt seen this problem about a gazillion times (as evidenced by what you've discovered in your happy hours scouring the internet for answers), ATT doesn't have any quick fix for it, and in fact, will add insult to injury by repeating the (Edited per community guidelines) reason why it's your own fault you've been locked out, when they know (Edited per community guidelines) well that is not the case.

Do I have that about right, ATT?
