Problem accessing Yahoo mail sub accounts

I have two Yahoo mail sub accounts that I can no longer access. They now roll back to the primary account when attempting to open. Deleted one and unable to log back in. Accounts work fine on Yahoo mail app but not on PC.

Hi There @Uncleeasy

There seems to be an update that was provided by yahoo security that has removed that functionality.  According to the information we have, you will need to use a mail client or mail app on a mobile device.

You can manage your email by using the MYAT&T app. Simply login and follow the steps below. Log on to app. Select My plans & features. Hit the “plus” drop down button next to your Internet service. Select Manage my network & email.

Also, it has come to our attention, that this has been affecting customers that have been using Chrome as their primary browser. Please try either Modzilla FireFox or Microsoft Edge as an alternate browser.

If you need anything else, please reach out to us again.

Hello @Uncleeasy, let’s see what we can do.

To clarify, are you able to login just fine with no issues to your accounts on the app, or are you still having issues with that too?

Also, are you using a 3rd party email client on your PC to login to your Yahoo, or through some other method, and if so, what other method?

Please let us know.

Using ATT.com. No issues logging into each account with separate logins, just unable to use the primary and sub accounts with the unified feature seeing all three accounts on one screen. Note that all ATT support work arrounds were unsuccessful.

Thank you for reaching back to us, @Uncleeasy.

Now we understand you don't have any problem logging into each account with separate logins, the issue is switching between the email addresses using the drop down features.
What device are you using? Were you able to use this feature before now? When did you start experiencing this issue?

To get started, we suggest that you clear cache and browsing history on your device, restart device and then try again.

You can also view this Forum Article to get details on How to Manage your Email using myAT&T app.

Let us know if this helps!

Thanks. Using a relatively new HP pc. No problems with equipment. Problem occurred two days ago and have been successfully using this feature previously. Did all of what you suggested under direction of ATT rep and no result. All work arrounds failed. Only one email address works at a time and no additional emails can be joined. What happens is that when attempting to load another email address, it rolls back to the previous logged in email. As mentioned, no problem with Yahoo app where this feature works.

I have been experiencing the same problem described by Uncleeasy for 3 weeks.  I have never used the Chrome browser.  I use Firefox, MS Edge or Brave and the problem is the same in all of them.  I can send and get e-mail on my primary account but cannot switch to any sub-account.  Same whether I log in via att.net or yahoo.com. I have successfully changed my att.net password.  I DO NOT USE any mobile devices, only a PC, Windows 10.  What is the solution for me?

Never had email issues until forced to use security keys.

Main att.net email works fine on two phones and laptop.

Sub account will not work on either. Spent 5+ hours with ATT tech trying to fix.

Did everything...EVERYTHING...and no luck.

Has to be upstream issue with att.net/yahoo. Tried new security keys, reinstalling phone email using the Oath security. will work occasionally...thats it.

sub account is used for business so this really (Edited per community guidelines).

If I dod not get a call back from someone who can fix the bug on their end, I will be forced to change e mail providers.

Again...(Edited per community guidelines)!
