Is RMA the same as AT&T account number when return via Fedex? What if it is wrong?
Hi, Community,
I returned my equipment via FedEx this morning. While I'm checking the receipt that FedEx gave me later today, I found an RMA number on it. It looks very similar to my account number but one digit less. I'm wondering should these two numbers be the same?
I showed my account number to FedEx staff on my phone so I suppose they won't type it wrong. But if the account(or RMA) number on my return is wrong, is there anything I can do to fix it? I called customer support but the call was transferred again and again to the next person who may know and ended up with no good.

Here to help with your return, @tianhuaf.
The RMA number is different from the account number and it is used to track your order. Normally they require a 9-digit account number to process your return, so everything should be fine. We also suggest that you keep your receipt till you get confirmation we have received your equipment and no charges appear on your bill.
