Account transfer

The name on my account was suppose to be transferred two months ago. I was also told that would be under a new account number and that part would transfer automatically. I am unable to get someone to chat or answer my call.

I also am trying to update the email on my profile contact. Every time I do it says it will send an email to verify address. It never sends the email to verify.

Hi. Just to verify, are you the primary account owner or the one who'll receive the account?

If you are the former owner of the account, have you already processed a Transfer of Billing Responsibility (TOBR)? Or, you just requested a name change?

If you haven't intiated a TOBR process yet, please visit http://www.att.com/transferbilling . After you completed the process, the receiving person should visit http://att.com/acceptbilling to accept the TOBR process.

I was the primary account holder, then it was transferred to my roommate. And now we are trying to transfer it back to me (he moved out).

If that's the case, the account is no longer under your name. Please ask you roommate if he already processed the TOBR. If not, you have to let him know that he must initiate the TOBR first before you can process accepting the transfer.

Yes. He already completed that two months ago (in February). I contacted ATT again in March and they said it was pending transfer. But now I cannot get ahold of customer service (have tried calling and the chat. The chat had me on hold for an hour then said no rep could be found, and disconnected me)
