Relocate the ONT for my home.

I need to relocate the ONT location for my home.  During the initial install, the technicians had difficulty bringing the fiber into our home because it crossed a neighbors yard and there was some question as to the easement, etc.  At the time, we just allowed the technician to stick it in the closest access point.  So, we didn't really have the ability to plan the network.  Now, we just need to moved to a more convenient location about about 15 feet from where it is now.  Can I do this myself, or do I need a technician?
