issues with downloading the mcafee security suite get the error A System Error occurred. Please try again" no att or mcafee help

I am trying to download the ATT Security Suite with Mcafee and I keep getting the same error "A System Error occurred. Please try again"  I contacted Mcafee and they said to contact ATT and ATT rep unable to help.  Any idea whats going on.  It is a brand new computer just got it a week ago.

I am having the same exact issue for a week now.  Tried Firefox, Chrome, Edge on Windows 7 and Windows 10 on a laptop, two different  PCs and each of those on two different networks (mine and parents' house).

NOTHING IS WORKING.

I got the same run around from AT&T and McAfee.  I'm ready to cancel AT&T and move to Xfinity.

I think i figured it out just by LUCK.  Right before you click the GET IT download button.  Hold down Shift-Ctrl-Del.  A windows will pop up and ask you to delete your browser cookies, cache, blah blah blah.  Delete everything.  Then  click Get It.  It will force you to enter your credentials again.  I have been able to do this on my Windows 10 laptop and also on  my Linux machine  (although the download is worthless  in Linux i will copy to my Windows 7 machine.)  good luck.

Also I  got  to the link by using:  https://ufix.att.com/

That user ID doesn't seem to work here. Sign in with a different ID.

I was able to fix this. There are options available to try at,

https://att.mcafee.com/webcenter/portal/cp/home/articleview?articleId=TS103155

None of them worked for me. So I tried clearing the cache and used my att id (****@att.net) and tried to download. Since that also didn't work, as a last option, I copied the mcafee URL and pasted it using Chrome Incognito mode. That worked.

Try your luck,
