How can I confirm when my wire will be buried?

I had service connected on July 21, 2022. After some apparent confusion regarding which terminal my house was supposed to be connected to, I was finally told that my wire would be buried today, August 20. It's afternoon now and, near as I can tell, no one has shown up to bury the wire. Being Saturday, the Buried Wire Center is closed and not answering their phone. The FAQ section provides no other contact information that would allow me to follow-up. What other options are available for verifying that the wire will, in fact, be buried today?

There is none, in most markets within ATT 21 state footprint local contractors are used. There may be more than one contractor depending on the size of the market, example would be our Milwaukee market which covers 6 counties with total population of 2.2 million would have more than one company performing all copper and fiber requests.

You can reach out to the buried wire center on Monday if needed.
