Can I get a tech to move the fiber line from a closet to my living room during installation?
Some time ago (~2 yrs.) AT&T came through my apt. complex to install fiber so we'd have the option. For some reason the fiber line was dropped into the closet which doesn't have an AC outlet. During setup, can I get them to move the fiber line drop to my living room so I can directly connect my network devices to the gateway via ethernet & also, you know plug it in? Also, if this is possible where/when/how do I ensure the install staff knows about this request prior to arrival?
Thanks for taking the time to answer questions.

No, if your an MDU pre installed all units should have fiber to the same point. It is up to your property management to provide ac power for the ONT, normally it is in an enclosed cabinet in the wall.

Notice the ac outlet in bottom left of the cabinet....
From this point you should have cat5e or better wiring going from the wiring closet to various jacks. The tech during install can determine which line connects the living room to allow you to place the gateway there using an existing wall plate.
