Black cable with orange flags

There was a tech. out today to install something for someone in our condo. complex.  They have left the black cable with orange flags running through the yard (mostly my yard), and they also loosened some wires that are on the light pole.  I need to know when they will come back and do something with the cable and fix the wires that they loosened on the pole.  They are in the way of my yard man (both the cable on the ground, and the loose wires on the pole)

It's up to the installation contractors who were hired to do the work and their schedule.

thanks for the info.  The tech started before 9:00 a.m., so I thought they would have it finished by this evening, but I guess not.

Wiring laying on the ground will be waiting for a local contractor to come and bury.... in most areas this time of year is 1 to 2 weeks.

Once buried an ATT tech is generally dispatched to make final connections and remove the temp wiring... this is normally 3 to 5 days after burial.

thank you for that.  That's not a good situation, since the cable is in the way of my lawn man mowing the yard.

We are here to help you with getting that wire buried, @LoisA.

Thank you to the aces for the useful information.

As they said, that line needs to be buried and it can take up to 1-2 weeks.

Here is more information on how to contact our Buried Wire Team.  We recommend that you call them directly at (800-924-9420). They will answer any questions that you have.

If you have any other questions or concerns, feel free to reach back out.
