AT&T never showed up
I’m a new customer and the fiber was already installed in the house I just moved into. When pluggin in the gateway to the fiber box, the PON light is not lit and the alarm light is red. Called customer service and the tech was supposed to be here between 8-12 but now it is an hour later and I’ve already contacted customer service twice. The first rep told me the tech is running behind 15 minutes. The second rep told me the tech can’t make it and they’re sending a different tech in their end. They both said that the tech would make it today but I haven’t seen anyone. I might just have to switch back to Cox.

Hello,
I just moved into a new home and am looking to have internet access. When we called AT&T a tech came out and said we signed up for copper internet (old stuff) but our home actually had a fiber box in the front yard, so we needed a new order for that. When I went to place the order they say my house isnt eligible for fiber, even though the fiber box is in my yard, and their own tech says it is; I have called in three times to have someone come out to my home, and was told they would send engineers, evaluators etc. to come out and inspect, however when my wife called yesterday, the customer service rep said there were no existing orders on our property.
