Gift Card NEVER Received

I have signed up for a n at&t fiber internet plan in JAN 2018 and i was told that i would receive $200 gift card in 3 months, but i have never received that gift card either my email or mail. When i call AT&T they are saying that they dont care about that after 120 days. AT&T is literally cheating customers by offering some promotions and tricking customers to sign up and then they are just abandoning those offers. They dont put it in any emails or provide any confirmation but literally do cheat by offering over the phone. THIS IS BROAD DAY LIGHT CHEATING just like wells fargo did. I hope some government agency put a tracker and punish these cheats. I have called customer care and they are not even bothered to look whether gift card was sent or not but simply saying its already 120 days passed and hang up on me, so they dont care. what is the use of offering something and not honoring that. AT&T sales people always cheat and this was my second experience. I have 1 internet connection and 10 Phone lines on my account and planning to go to Verizon which gives better service and atleast not cheat like AT&T does.

AT&T sales are big scammers and hope some government will track their cheat tricks. I am going to submit all these details and raise a complaint to FCC about this malpractice.

I have already reached out to the rewards center and they hung up on me saying its more than 120 days since the service activated, so they dont care whether they sent rewards card or not. I cant login to rewards center website with my account number. I feel stupid having such a nasty cheating company AT&T as my service provider,

I signed up for AT&T bundle for internet and TV in April. It is August and have yet to receive the gift cards. Every time I call I'm on hold for over 45 minutes just to be transferred. After getting transferred the excuse they use every time is "oh looks like we had the zip code incorrect, we will ship it out again it should take 30 days". Ok fine not sure how they messed up but ok that was once. Called again and put on hold for 50 minutes. Finally someone answered stating " it was never shipped out. let me go ahead and ship it out it should take 30 days." Fine so I called the 3rd time. Again 45 minute hold. Finally someone says "your unit number wasnt on the address". So this time I got mad and said you have my account number, every time I call I verify the address 3 times with you. Instead they go round and round and end up saying "we will ship this out right away, apologizes". I'm currently on hold right now and its passing 30 minutes. Wonder what excuse they will use this time. Honestly if they cant fix this issue I'm planning on canceling my phone, tv, and internet. This is ridiculous. I shouldnt have to beg this much for a reward they said I was getting.

I'm having the same issue with no resolve. It's quit upsetting. Ordered and had internet service installed on 8/3/19, never received claim email that im told repeatedly to look for. I called several times (the 1-800-288-9983 rewards claim center). The automated line does not understand my address or cannot locate my account (acct *****). Once I get an agent on the line, they try transferring me. Last time, I waited 25 minutes and the agent had sent me to the Spanish language line. I don't speak Spanish and the agent didn't speak English, so that call was ended. What a mess and a false promise. I'd like my $100 gift card as promised ATT.

Yeah they got me too recently. After several phone calls and getting confirmation that gift card was being processed, I found out today that because it has been more than 120 days that I would not receive my card. $300 worth the lies from these people. The rep I spoke with said that they didn’t receive notice of promotion until 3 days after I qualified. Then how did I know about details and why are there records of phone calls placed? Scammers...

I experienced that same type of bait and switch tactic from AT&T.  I signed up for internet and Direct TV Stream with an AT&T Promotional Representative that solicited me at my home on 12/1/21.  As part of the promotion, they told me that I would receive a $150 gift card within 6-8 months of having service.  I called AT&T Help @ 800-288-2020 and told representative Allie that I had never received the promotional gift card.  She stated that she would document my concern and let me know that I needed to call a different department at 866-342-4271.  I called and spoke to representative Caroline who then told me that because I did not collect the card within 4 months of service initiation that the promotion has expired.  What kind of scam is this?  Does anyone know of a corrective recourse that I can take to resolve this?
