Hello @Switt21

We understand that you're encountering some trouble with accessing your email when connected to your home network. We're glad to assist you.

This issue seems to be relative to potential ports being blocked for some reason. You might try through proxy access. Check this link for "how to" on that specific topic/issue. This is a specific article through HostGator.

Upon review/research of this issue, when it comes to port blocking, you will want to be sure to check port 25. You may need to reconfigure the account for your email client to change outgoing SMTP port from 25 to 26 or 587.

For information on port forwarding, specific to your AT&T RG (Residential Gateway), check out this article for support on that subject.

If you would like real-time support on this issue, we do offer chat support for any assistance. You can access our chat here. Scroll to the bottom of the  page for the chat button.

Thanks for the reply. On my call to ATT yesterday I was directed your paid support. I hung up and gave up. Fortunately, all was good again in the AM.

@Switt21.

Sorry about how long it took to get to a solution, but we're glad to hear it's working now. Feel free to reach back out if it acts up again. Thanks for choosing AT&T!
