Login Rate limit hit
I have an iMac Pro running High Sierra. ATT is my internet provider. I haver been unable to access Mail for a week. Initially, the error message was "login and password failed" (or something to that effect). Now it says "LOGIN Rate limit hit."
Can anyone tell me how to get Mail up and running again? Many, many thanks if you can help.

Try logging into your webmail to ensure your id and password work that way. I think doing that clears the limit failure. Go to start.att.net and click the mail icon in the upper right.
Do you have a legacy account (e.g., sbcglobal.net, pacbell.net, etc.) and was it merged with yahoo?
