EVERY HOLIDAY WEEKEND…NO COVERAGE!
So, here it is memorial weekend….and here we go again..NO PHONE SIGNAL! We live , all year long, by a lake, and near a campground. EVERY TIME there is a holiday weekend there is NO phone signal here! Don’t know if there’s just a lot of people camping…? But that shouldn’t be an issue, should it?
PLEASE FIX! THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR YEARS! What if we have an emergency?
We shouldn’t have to pay for something we don’t get whenever there is a holiday!

It happens. During fair time here minimal service with 6000 people a day even if not actively using the phone they are still connected to the network thus congesting the network

This is why you see all of those carrier trucks in parking lots around stadium events. The local cell towers can be completely saturated. They erect temporary cellular APs to boost access and coverage. Otherwise, despite having a "signal" your calls and receipt of calls can't get through.
Good luck, have a safe weekend...I pray you don't need emergency services. If you do, nature of cellular networks is that they will put you through immediately once you made a 911 call. *You* momentarily have access priority.

Fun story....DD#2 was in NOLA when Katrina was on the way. She left the city to go to Shreveport. It was almost IMPOSSIBLE to contact her. Why? Because everyone else was trying to use their cellphones.
Moral to the story: Cellphone towers can only handle so much traffic.
