If you are on the Mobile Share Data Plan, you need to consider the loss of the out of contract discount into the costs. If you are on the 10gb or greater data plan, the discount is $25 per month for being out of discount. If you are on a data plan of less that 10gb the discount is $15 per month.
In the long run, if you are on the 10gb or greater, it is cheaper to buy using the NEXT program. You pay full price for the phone, but keep the out of contract discount per month.
