iPhone 15 stuck on label created

I preordered my iPhone 15. It supposedly shipped but the status reads label created. It has had this status since September 16. Anybody know if I should be worried? Is the phone going to ship? What’s the ETA on IPhones shipping now? Especially if it’s one that was pre ordered on September 15.

Cg2009-I would call customer service. I’ll put the number here. I ended up going into the ATT store this weekend and that’s what they directed me to do. The in store employees couldn’t cancel my online order because online is different from in store?? I guess?? I don’t know but ATT made it way too complicated to get the phone. Long story short, I called the customer service number that they provided and got connected to someone who miraculously spoke English and immediately understood my situation. The customer rep on the phone was the ONLY person to help me. Because mine also said label created but att site kept saying carrier picked up. As a result, I kept getting the run around and being told to call fed ex. I’m sorry but if it says label created that just means Att made a label for it- not that fed ex scanned it or that it’s even on its way to you. I was so mad but that’s besides the point. The lady on the phone cancelled my old order and re ordered the phone for me. I now have a personal delivery and set up service scheduled for tomorrow. (Supposedly- I’ll believe it when it happens haha). But supposedly my phone will be delivered by a personal delivery tomorrow. That being said- I had to repay taxes, but att did credit my account. Just trying to prepare you when you call. You need to tell them to cancel your pre order from September 15 (because it’s nowhere) and you want to order the phone again. I had a trade in with mine, and the rep was able to still get my trade in switched to the new order. At this point I’m praying that it does show up tomorrow. The rep told me all colors of the basic iPhones (not pro max because I think pro max does have a delay) but all the basic iPhones and colors are available- there’s no delay. So definitely call them- att store said you can dial 611 from your phone or call 800-288-2020. You get an automated system but you have to tell

the robot you want to speak to a customer representative, and tell it that you are calling about “mobility” and tell it your zip code. If you happen to know your att secret PIN number that also helps get to a phone rep faster. Good luck- I’ll update here tomorrow if I actually get my phone lol. Also I know you’re probably frustrated because I was super frustrated too- I was really excited about the phone and this hassle of getting it really dampened my spirits. It was like nobody was understanding me- yes I realize it says label created and I know what that means!! I’m not an (Edited per community guidelines) lol. Hope you get through and get a new order in. I’ll update here tomorrow if mine actually shows up when it’s supposed to. I have faith though since the phone rep I spoke with seemed like she knew what she was talking about. Fingers crossed!

I continue to encounter the same issue with my order from AT&T. According to their customer service, it's attributed to a supply problem, and they've assured me it will be shipped as soon as possible. However, I'm beginning to have doubts about whether AT&T is accurately tracking the status of our order, as their system indicates that the carrier has already picked it up.

That 5-7 day window is just generic script.  It doesn’t apply when a hot new phone is released and the initial demand surge outstrips the supply available at launch.  The order status is the best option to see if AT&T has gotten your phone from Apple yet.  The CS people you can get a hold of don’t see anything more than what you see when you check yourself.  If you’ve gotten a shipping notice, and a tracking number, that’s also useful information.  If your tracking number shows that it’s been handed off to the carrier, then you should be able to track it through the carrier’s web page.  If it just shows “label created”, then that’s all that’s been done.  They are still waiting to ship the phone.  For how much longer, who knows?  Hopefully if they move to label created, they expect to get it soon.

If the order is going nowhere, you may be able cancel and get the phone through Apple, or elsewhere.

Thanks. My order status on AT&T shows carrier picked up with an expected delivery of September 17th. The FedEx tracking numbers says label created.

Pinklady716, thank you for the valuable information! They should consider putting you on their payroll because I have learned more from you than from the three to five customer service agents I've interacted with. This has been the most dreadful customer service experience I have ever encountered with any company. It seems like each agent is sourced out of country.  I was on the verge of canceling, and the possibility is still not completely ruled out. I’m following the steps your provided…. Wish me luck!
