Iphone 15 Pro no service after update

I performed a software update on my iPhone 15 pro this Saturday to version 17.1.2.  After the update, I have not had cell service.  Luckily, I can still connect and perform calls over wifi.  When wifi is turned off, my service is displayed as SOS only/no service.  I have visited 3 ATT stores, an apple store, and spent hours on the phone with both Apple and ATT.  No solution has been found at this time.  I have probably had 10 different Esims installed and, most of the time, the installation fails after activating for about 15 minutes.

Apple seems to think it is an ATT issue because my phone displays SOS only.  ATT seems to think it is an esim or Apple issue because it seems to correspond to the update that was installed.  Has anyone else had a similar issue?  Any other suggestions?  Thank you!

Your warranty for a full year is with Apple. Have them replace the phone.

I'm having the exact same problem after upgrading from iPhone 8 to iPhone 14 Pro Max.  It's so frustrating, and nobody seems to have an answer!

Hey @CJF_1, we hear you, and want to help get this sorted.

As you mentioned above that you have tried all the troubleshooting steps, and as mentioned that the iPhone 14 Pro Max has an eSIM card. We'll need to bring you to a DM to check your eSIM provisioning. We are going to initiate a DM to help you. Please look out for a DM notification from us. (For your reference it's the bell icon on the top right-hand corner of the forums)

Looking forward to speaking with you!

Having Apple replace the phone under warranty was the right advice.  I had a replacement phone in my hand the next day.  The number transferred quickly and I now have service again.  Thanks for the advice, @formerlyknownas!
