Device Unlock portal not working

Hi,

I have an old iPhone 2G which is still locked to AT&T that I want to unlock. Unfortunately the unlock portal does not work. "Oops! Looks like we're having network difficulties. Try again later." as soon as I try to confirm that I'm not a robot or enter my IMEI.

Is there any manual way to submit an unlock request?

That iPhone can no longer be unlocked as its to old.

That doesn't make any sense and the error appears even before I enter the IMEI.

even if you can enter it its going to get rejected.
