Is it normal to LTE to appear but not work after switching accounts?

I'm not sure what you mean by appear but not work?  If you mean you're having trouble using data, try power cycling your phone.

I did that like 3 times. My phone says it has LTE, but when I use anything that needs Wi-Fi or cellular. It only works with Wi-Fi

Try resetting your network settings.

  • If you're using iOS, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
  • On Android, go to Settings > System > Advanced > Reset options > Reset network settings.
  • Switch on and turn off the Airplane mode. 
  • Make sure your device software is up to date.
