ATT assurion, insurance
Cracked screen, called Att, they said contact insurance ASSURION. 62 PAGES OF SOME NEW ROLL OUT. VERY CONVOLUTED AND STILL NO IDEA HOW TO APPLY FOR REPAIR. I clicked on deductible $225, that's crazy.

Easy to start a claim.
$225 deductible is cheaper than the $550 - $850 for a new iphone.

Use this link to start the process:

Also Asurion is making limited screen repairs onsite at some ATT stores. See this link:

Since you're posting in the Apple forums, I would make a small suggestion to you. Contact Apple and see if you can get an appointment at your local Apple Genius Bar. I believe that Apple will do screen replacements for under $100, and it will not void the remainder of the Apple warranty on the device. This could save you some money, and be a better solution for you in the long run...

@Guppy42 Price varies depending on if you pay for AppleCare+ and which model. https://support.apple.com/iphone/repair/screen-damage
If you do NOT have AppleCare+ I think it's $129 or $149 depending on the model (for SCREEN only).
Paying for the screen even if you have insurance might make sense if it's cheaper than the deductible.
If you have a $500 deductible on your car and $100 in damage you're not going to do an insurance claim are you?
