Asurion issue

I received my new phone from Asurion. I sent my broken phone back, I just received a bill from att for 255. I KNOW I sent it back. I walked in there with it in box provided bubble wrap and all and mailed it. I just didn’t drop it in a box. Why would I sent an empty package ? Just to be charged? Att customer support said they can show me pictures? It’s not my fault that it was not in there. I did exactly what was told. This will be the last time I ever use insurance. Ever. Last time I ever use Att. Absolutely no help what so ever. I’m actually disgusted and disappointed. I’ve read way too many posts about how they don’t receive the package back or it’s empty. Isn’t that saying something? Something isn’t right man

This seems to be an issue with Asurion.  Not sure why AT&T would tell you they have pictures.  AT&T really doesn’t have anything to do with it.  They only do billing for Asurion.  If you got billed for your old phone not arriving, it’s because Asurion says they never got it back.

$255? That amount sounds like a replacement deductible, was the deductible billed separately? What was the amount if so?
