Hi kzmzm. We appreciate you sharing those details.

Currently, to unlock the device, it cannot be blacklisted or stolen. Only the original device owner can lift the blacklist restriction.

These details and more are found under our device unlock eligibility requirements.

We hope this info helps. Let us know if you need assistance with any other AT&T products and services.

Hi there, kzmzm. Let's look into your locked phone and unusable SIM card.

If your phone meets our device unlock eligibility requirements then you'll want to follow @Constructive's recommendation and submit your request at our AT&T Device Unlock portal.

Just make sure that it's an AT&T brand phone as we can only unlock AT&T phones. You can find these details and more under eBay & Non-AT&T Purchases when you visit AT&T Device Unlock Help - Solutions & FAQs.

As it pertains to your SIM card:

  • What happens when you try to use your SIM? If you receive an error message when using your SIM card reach back out to us and let us know what that error message is so that we can look into it for you.
    • It's possible that you may need a PIN Unlock Key (PUK) especially if you're receiving a message "Locked SIM" in the status bar of your phone.
      • If your SIM card is a non-AT&T card then you will need to contact your current carrier for instructions on how to unlock it.

Reach back out and let us know how this goes. Make sure to include details about whether you've ever had an AT&T account with us.

If you need further assistance we can invite you into a Direct Message for a more personalized solution.

My Apple 14pro Max is currently unable to use my phone card to display SIM card locked. What should I do? I have already provided the IMEI code

Thank you for providing those details about your phone usage, kzmzm.

First, we advise that you edit your post and remove your IMEI from public view. We don't want any information that identifies your device to be compromised. Next, let us know a little more detail about your experience:

  • Are you an AT&T customer? To use your device you will need an eSIM which is a digital SIM that connects some newer devices to the AT&T network. It is used instead of a SIM card to connect to the AT&T wireless network.
    • Here's how to set up your iPhone14 for the first time. Your device will not be able to connect to Cellular services until you Activate your eSIM or Transfer your current line of service to your eSIM.

If you have already activated your phone please let us know what happens when you try to use your phone. Make sure to include any error message you receive as a result.

If you're trying to unlock the device then let us know if it meets our eligibility requirements including having been active on the AT&T network for at least 60 days.

We want to provide a solution for your experience.

What part of there nothing you can do don’t you understand only the person who blacklisted it can remove it At&t won’t share any customer information nor account information if you can’t get a refund then hit it with a hammer. You have been told 3 times now. 🤦‍♂️
