Unlock Request Denied
Respected Sir,
I bought a used Moto X - XT1058 in my country (Pakistan) about 2 months back.
The device was network locked.
I'm a Non-AT&T Mobility Customer and outside US.
I requested unlock code but was denied because:
- Your device is currently active on another AT&T customer’s account.
I checked the device thoroughly and verified its IMEI etc to ensure it wasn't a stolen device. But I'm still not getting an Unlock code.
How can I unlock it? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks you.

I've been a client of ATT for about 4 - 5 years , I've doing the request to unlock my device 5 times 4 has been denied ... I hope this time this message get to the right hands because Im tired of all this.
I match all the requeriments to unlock my device but its funny for the person who check my request to cancel with no valid reason ..... I have this device almost a year I've have continued service with out interruption for more than 4 years ....
ATT has to fullfill what it put in the website DON'T LIE TO THE CLIENTS

Greetings. Could you please help me unlock my phone. I tried to unlock it via the "Device unlock portal" but got refused
"We can not unlock this device because it has not been activated for at least six months.
You can submit a new request after six months of paid service. "
I got the iphone 4 phone as a gift, now I'm not in the US territory, what actions should I take to unlock my phone?
Thank you.

You have to use it for 6 months on ATT before they will unlock it.. The info is on the package.

@aristo93 It means you have to use At&t prepaid for 6 months. Only then will At&t unlock the phone.

I was just wondering if there was anyway at all I could get around that.
Maybe with purchasing an unlock code or will that still not work? Thanks
for the help. I just threw the box away so I can't return it!
