Text Messages Not Being Received

Two family members are not able to receive my text messages on my Samsung A52 cell phone.  We have tried everything from deleting them, clearing cache etc. and then re-adding them.  Tried to send via message icon as well as through Contact icon. Neither works.  I receive all their text messages but they do not receive any of mine. I realized the one thing we have in common is via Google Maps we share our locations with each other.  I signed out of that and then they were able to receive 90% my text messages????? Is there a setting I have on my cell phone that is interrupting my text messages as I'd like to stay signed in on Google maps.  Any suggestions?  TY.

Hello @m0915,

We hear you, and let's get the help you require with regard to the text messages.

We recommend you to run few basic troubleshooting steps outlined below:

a) Go to Settings, then Advanced Messaging. Turn Advanced Messaging off and back on.

b) Review your contacts. If you’re not receiving messages from a specific person or number, please make sure the number or contact isn’t blocked. If they are, unblock them by following the instructions below:

  1. Go to your Messages.
  2. Tap the Menu (3 dots) and then Settings.
  3. Choose Block Numbers and Messages and then Blocked Messages.
  4. Select messages to be unblocked.

c) Check your device's memory storage. If it's full, messages may not come through.

b) Please ensure your device is updated to the latest software.

e) Please reset network settings. Go to your Settings>Choose General Management>Reset>Select Reset Network Settings and then Reset Settings.

In addition, you can refer to device support to run real-time diagnostics.

Let us know if the above information helps!

Thank you so much.  One question... when you say:  e) Please reset network settings. Go to your Settings>Choose General Management>Reset>Select Reset Network Settings and then Reset Settings.

My options are: Reset mobile network settings; Reset Wif-Fi and Bluetooth settings OR Reset all settings.

Which one should I use? and will I lose all my data on phone?  I'm not very tech savvy  ...
