Phone won't dial out

My phone suddenly won't dial out just immediately ends the call. Unless it is someone that just recently called me.

Hello @myatnt,

 

Thank you for bringing this to our attention via the Community forums! It’s very odd this started all of a sudden, but we’ll work through this!

 

A great way to troubleshoot this is to use our Troubleshoot and Resolve Tool. It’s almost like having a personal tech agent by your side. With this, choose your phone, select Phone calls under Service/network issues, and answer the questions until you receive a resolution.

 

I also suggest resetting your network settings; this is will refresh your overall connection to our network. You can do this by going to Settings > Backup & Reset > Reset Network Settings. Be sure to restart your phone after doing this. Re-entering your Wi-Fi password to connect to Wi-Fi may be necessary as well.

Unable to dial out.  Say's calling but recipient is not receiving my call.  I cannot hear a ring on my end either.  Some texts aren't going through either.  Phone seems find otherwise.  Am able to received calls and texts just not make them.

 

I understand there's an issue with data and something else with ATT
