No service available!

Constantly without service in my home, why is at&t coverage so sketchy?

So pay off your phone and switch carriers.  The FCC determines who can provide coverage and where .

I've been with at&t since before they were at&t... It's not the carrier, I think it's my new android.  I just got it, before now my iPhone always had mediocre to okay coverage, what has changed?  Is it the android or at&t?

Different manufacturers have different quality parts in their devices. Has nothing to do with the OS in this case. You keep saying "Android". That's an operating system. Android runs on hundreds of different devices by dozens of manufacturers.

It's not the same as Apple who does make both the OS and the device - although they do make several different models of phones, and even those can have differing signal reception capabilities between them.

What is the specific phone manufacturer and model that you have?  That might be the issue.

Hi @djnjreece, we understand your situation, and this is not the kind of experience we want you to have. We'll definitely help you get this resolved.

There are a few methods to get this resolved. Removing your SIM card, powering your phone off, cleaning the SIM off with a soft cloth, re-inserting the SIM, and powering the phone back on can be a big help. This will refresh our network with your device, and ensure the SIM is still properly seated.

If this does not help, please try our Troubleshoot & Resolve Tool. This will provide personalized troubleshooting tailored to your device.
