Galaxy Z fold 4 Software Updates

To answer your question, is the device purchased from AT&T? We ask this because AT&T rolls out software updates on an IMEI basis. This helps us identify and control how to patch interacts with individual devices, and makes it easier for us to recall the patch as and if necessary. 

You can also check the software version by following these steps.

1. Make sure your device is fully charged and connected to Wi-Fi.
2. From the Settings screen, scroll to and select Software update.
3. Select Check for updates, then OK.
4. Follow the on-screen prompts to download and install the update. The device automatically restarts once the new software successfully installs.

Thank you for your response.  I did not get the phone from AT&T and is very possible that’s why I’m not getting the updates.  I have been going into the settings daily to check for available updates and none have been published.

Are you at least using the AT&T network?  If not, you won't get updates.  AT&T phones only get updates while on the AT&T network with an active AT&T SIM.

If you aren't on AT&T, then you are on your own it getting updates elsewhere.  Probably by finding and loading the firmware yourself.  We can't discuss the methods on this forum (AT&T policy), but all I can suggest is to ask over in the xda developers forum or the android central forum. Or just google samsung firmware, odin and frija. You'll know what I mean when you see it.
