galaxy S9 group message not working

After the recent system update for the Galaxy S9, I can no longer send group messages. I'm not the only one. Several other in my group say the same thing and we all have different carriers. I've checked to make sure their numbers are correct, I've restarted my phone several times, I haven't changed my settings, and it still says the message FAILED. please please help.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention! Allow us to help. We'd like for you to try some basic troubleshooting. The first is resetting your network settings. To do so, navigate to Settings > General management > Reset > Reset network settings > Reset settings. Restart your device, and see if you are still experiencing the issue afterwards. Please let us know whether or not this helps.

This didnt work. I'm not the only one experiencing this. Others in my group messagers who have different carriers than att are also having same issue

Lets try to isolate the issue since your group chat is using multiple devices, operating systems, customers, regions, carriers & technologies to make it work.

Lets start with your S9.
Can you browse the internet?
Do you have Wireless or PREPAID service?
Are you using the stock Samsung Messaging app?
Whats your OS - Oreo 8, or Pie 9?
What messaging app version are your using V1 or V2?
Are you sending standard SMS, or MMS - any stickers, GIFs or MEMEs?
Are you connected to WI-FI, or mobile data?
Are you using Wi-Fi Calling?
Are you attempting to send a group message a peak time in a busy area?

I was able to fix this problem. The issue was my group text was suddenly not on multimedia messages. I dont know how it was turned off for just that group, but I fixed it

I had to delete the group and create a new one. When I did it put it on multimedia messages. I would like to know how to change it without deleting

The problem.seems to persist even after creating a whole new text group. I've done this multiple times and after a while, the issue returns. I have the latest android update. This all happened right after.

That's exactly what happened to me. The phone updated and suddenly I had no group message for a particular group. My other groups were just find, just one was messed up.
