Cell dropping signal all of a sudden

The past two days my Samsung s6 active has been dropping calls, not receiving calls or text and not sending text or making calls. It's very spotty.  It seems to do it more between 4pm and 8am. I've missed several business calls due to this issue. I've noticed that when the LTE disappears and it's just 4g is when I can use the phone. I can't search the web unless LTE is there. I'm not getting any breaks on my bill while not being able to use my phone and it's getting very irritating.
