Can't receive pictures in texts

For starters, we'd like to gather additional information. Is this issue only happening with one contact, or several? Do you have advanced messaging turned on when receiving pictures? If you have it turned on, try turning it off. Once you do that, see if you are able to receive the pictures properly.

Att help, this has been happening with at least 2 contacts for me...  we are all Android users (galaxy S9. S9+ and S20+)  i have advanced messaging on but still get the same problem with it turned off.  Have cleared cache and tried deleting the entire conversations.  Powered off. Powered on.  Sometimes it'll correct itself and then go back to not being able to see pics.  Just get the same gray box noted above.   Tried deleting all pics from the conversation. No go.  Please fix this asap

I am having the same problem.  Mmy husband sends me pictures when he's away and they aren't coming through. If he sends them when he's with me they show up. 

I'm having the same problem when one particular contact send me a picture message.  It don't download and won't resume. This is very annoying, please fix asap.  Thanks 

I've had this problem too with a couple of other Android users, but I've noticed that it's only when I'm connected to my wifi at home. If I disconnect from my wifi at home and have them resend the picture, it comes through. Don't know if it's just my specific internet provider or what. 

I am also having this problem, it's just from one user. My husband is able to get the pics on his phone but mine just has grey box that says paused. We all have androids and no we haven't had i phones previously. I did turn off advanced messaging and that didn't work. 

@lynnak22  try turning off your Wifi and then go back to the picture and refresh/resume the download.  Thats how I STILL have to download some of my pictures.  Seems if the other Androis user is not on Wifi you have to turn yours off too.  ATT needs to ix this.  IT's FRUSTRATING AND ANNOYING!

Hi, I have the same issue with my brand new S21 Ultra. It happens to/with multiple contacts. There is nothing in the troubleshooting that helps resolve the issue. 

I have been having the same issue ever since being forced to upgrade to 5g compatible phone.  My son & husband who were also forced to upgrade have all been having the same issue.  We all have galaxy s21.  It's hit or miss which of us will be the one(s) to be unable to receive photos at any given time.

My Samsung Ultra 23 and my husband's Samsung 23 is having the same problem. Please get this resolved
