cant make calls,I try, 4g drops, full service bars become no service symbol says out of service area
I will bullet this to make it as easy as possible
*4G(and only 4G) stopped working yesterday
*software update and/or APN settings fixed that
*top bar shows full service bars and 4G
*internet works from 4g wireless and texting works as well
*upon making a call 4G vanishes as does the internet that comes with it, the bars turn into the no service symbol.
*10-15 secs later call drops message saying out of service area comes up
*I am not out of service area.
* sim is not damaged or corroded is in fact quite recentenly installed.
* sim position checked
* not sure this matters but if I set phone to gsm only or anything that doesnt specify LTE instead of full service bars I get the no service symbol.

Welcome to the forum. What phone do you have? Does this happen in every area or just at one specific location? Have you called 611 and tried to have AT&T troubleshoot?

well. Troubleshooting did not yield much, needless to say the problem
remains. If it matters phone used to be tmobile. They unlocked it for me
some months ago and since then it has worked perfectly on att until a
couple of days ago.

You changed sims "quite recently" - any chance it's a bad sim?
