Can't call - other functions okay
I cannot make or recieve calls on my Galaxy A71 5G lte phone for 4 days now. Incoming go straight to voicemail, outgoing hangup immediately. I have turned off the phone, reset all settings, checked sim card, updated all software/security, paid my bill, disconnected and reconnected to wifi, and everything else you could think of. All other functions are working, including text, sending photos. I am able to call on Facbook messenger but this doesn't allow me to call all contacts. Phone was purchased in May 2021. Help!

You wrote the phone was purchased in May of 2021, from what source?
Model numbers?
Galaxy A71 5G (SM-A716U**, SMA716U1) are whitelisted, and should work.

Well that's not good. Very strange
Did you try having a SIM card replaced?
And you will definitely need to contact AT&T and let them know about this problem. Unfortunately I thought it was going to be a simple reason (an incompatible phone) but it's not incompatible

Thanks for trying - I'm going to AT&T tomorrow. I've found some work arounds with different apps but definitely need a real solution.

OUTCOME - took a 10 minute trip to AT&T, had sim card replaced, worked perfectly now. Completely free. Hope this helps others in a similar situation!
