can no longer access email on my iphone

As of 11/17/2020 I no longer get email on my iphone. The error I get says 'No password provided for "Sbcglobal"." i have tried multiple times by going through settings,accounts, Sbcglobal, (imap) account...and re-entering my password (it has NOT changed) all without success. I am at my wits end! What do I have to do to get my email back on my iphone 7.

Thank you for reaching out to us. We'll be happy to look into this for you. 
 
If you haven't yet, try checking the email app under Apps and see if it needs to be updated. If so, tap  Update to do so. If this is a third party app, you may want to remove and reinstall the app. Make sure your device software is up to date.

Well...the email app doesn't show up !  How could I lose the email app???? This is just crazy!
