Verify with AT&T that the correct IMEI is on your account.

Double check the exact model number, including if there are extra characters. Any difference means it is not the approved model, even if it has an extra character/digit at the end.

Did you check to see if the SIM card is perhaps an older one that is not provisioned for VoLTE?

Ideally an update of the IMEI on the account and/or a new SIM would be the issue as those are easy fixes.

If that still doesn't work, where did you get that One Plus 6T?

We'll be happy to help you with your service @meghag.

If you have not updated your device, Let's try this first to see if this will get your service back to making and receiving calls.

Also check to see if you are need of a new sim card.

Let us know if this helps.

@meghag

Hi Meg,

I have the same model phone as you (Onplus 6t-A6013) and I just fixed my voice features. AT&T was of no help here. I had to fix it myself. Here is how I did it:

1. Open your dialpad and type in *#800#

2. This will open a developer menu. Tap enter on the warning.

3. Select the "oneplus Logkit" option at the top

4. from that menu tap the "Function Switch" option near the bottom

5. From that menu tap the "VoLTE switch" option then tap the reboot option that pops up.

6. When your phone reboots voice should be working. If not, go to your settings > Wi-Fi & internet > SIM & network > SIM 1 > and ensure VoLTE is enabled under "Enhanced Communications".

It's absolutely pathetic that AT&T can't provide these simple steps to their paying customers. This is NOT new information. The forum I found it on was posted way back in 2020...that's two whole years ago. I highly recommend you find another carrier, even though your phone is now working, hopefully. AT&T clearly cares nothing about their paying customers.

Hey AT&T...why not hire me? I'm clearly more adept than 99.9% of your paid employees.

As for you @JefferMC - if you don't have a solution for this person, why even chime in at all? No one needs you here playing hall monitor. Make yourself useful or move along.

Oh you're just all over the place. The OnePlus 6t, North American unlocked, is on the whitelist.

A replacement SIM card and a reset of network settings is all that is required.

@formerlyknownas If all that's needed is a SIM card and a network settings reset then explain this customer's issue: All incoming and out going call stop working after 3G sunset | AT&T Community Forums (att.com)

You guys are so confidently incorrect. Users are literally telling you they're having issues and you are trying to say they're not. C'mon man.

Alas, she fixed her handset after following my troubleshooting steps.

@meghag - Awesome! I'm glad to hear it worked for you and you're phone is up and running now. Keep in mind that if you ever update your phone you may have to follow those same steps again.
