WARP at Walmart

Bought a Samsung Galaxy A01 at Walmart for AT&T prepaid. The signage says the phone is only $9 with $50 service plan and in-store activation through Walmart's WARP system. Well, the phone says it has been activated on the AT&T network, but I need to add a service plan. The phone is unable to make calls or texts. THE WARP people say they can't do anything and that AT&T has to fix it. What do I do?

Yeah I got the same (Edited per community guidelines) story but my phone was brought through Verizon and I have only had the phone for a little less than a month now and I just got a phone bill for 129 dollars that I'm stuck with and I I'm not happy at all

@MissCherelle

You are posting on a completely different topic 3 years after the original post. Not a way to get attention to your issue.

When you sign up for postpaid service there is a $35 activation fee, you are paying for more than one month's service on your first bill, and your first bill does not include any credits or discounts yet.

The autopay and paperless billing discount with debit or checking is not given until your first bill is auto paid with paperless billing with debit or checking. Any credits on phone promotions usually take two to three months. If you have signed up for any discount program, it may take one or two months to verify your eligibility for discount. Phone promotional credits and any verified discount program are retroactive. You still have to pay your first bill at its existing rate or you'll wind up in default on your very first month of service
