Urgent

I've been abroad for over 2 years and my AT&T prepaid number is suspended. I need help reactivating it so I can regain access to my account. The issue is that my OTP (one time Password) requires that I have access to my text messages for verification purposes. Any guidance on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated!

If your account is merely "suspended" that's different from "inactive" or completely gone.  If it's suspended, perhaps there is hope, but if it's been 2 years since you've made any payment to AT&T, then I doubt "suspended" covers your situation.

If "suspended" contact AT&T directly by phone to attempt to resolve the situation.  The phone number can be obtained via the Contact Us link at the bottom of this page.  If, as I suspect, the account has been terminated, you'll have to establish your identity with the financial platforms in some way other than your phone number.

Good luck.

The only help you’ll get is if you contact AT&T directly using the contact us link at the bottom of the page.  They aren’t going to contact you based on a forum post.  When was the last time your plan was refilled?  If your account had a $0 balance for 60 days or more, your number was canceled.

If you have been outside the country for more than 2 years, it is likely that you have not maintained your account, i.e. paid to continue your service during that entire time, is that correct?  If so, then... your "plan" is long gone and with it any phone number you had been assigned.  You can start a new plan with a new phone number at any AT&T store or online.

Understood! I haven't kept up with my prepaid account, and now it's suspended. The problem is, I have investments in US financial platforms that require access to my AT&T in order to regain access to my portfolio. Can anyone suggest a solution or a way to resolve this issue?

How long has it been since your account was paid for?  Again, if it’s had a $0 balance for too long, the account was closed and the number gone.
