Unable to activate new prepaid sim
I have a new prepaid sim that I ordered from the AT&T prepaid website. I requested to port my current number to it. The number shows correctly on the shipping paperwork I received. I placed the sim in my phone to activate it, but I cannot complete activation, and I cannot set up my online account because I need a temporary password that gets sent as a text, but the sim still isn't working, so I can't receive the text.
Calling 611 doesnt work because the line isn't active. Please help me get my service up and running.

Call at&t from your old phone/sim which works until you port your number
Once you receive your SIM card and have your phone ready, call 866 975 0050 to activate via phone and have your AT&T Order # handy.
Explain you'd like to activate your service and port your number and provide phone number, SIM card and IMEI. The agent will then ask you for payment to activate service.
