Phone showing bars, says no service

My Galaxy s7 isnt working. It shows no service till I open up the phone or messages then itll have bars but still says service unavailable.

All the obvious questions are, is your bill or refill overdue? Are you in an area with no AT&T service? Are you out of the United States and using AT&T prepaid?
