Thanks lizdance40, but that is the 'party line' response. The online account shows data usage by individual event, but no total for a month. And I don't want to check it on my phone but for another line in the same account.
You sure online doesn’t also show totals? I know mine does but I don’t have prepaid. In any event, each prepaid line has its own account even if part of a multiline plan. You can only check data for a line from that line’s account.
I'm on prepaid, and I CAN check usage for all lines in that account, but it's on a time-by-time basis. Before we went to prepaid (and saved a ton $$) I agree, one can see the data usage by total for each pay period. Not so on prepaid (at least I can't find it).

Usage reports are in your online account. Also may be on your phone. Android can track by bill cycle if set correctly.
Apple has to be tracked by 3rd party app
