3g micro cell

I keep getting this txt mssg but not sure if it’s legitimate so I hesitate to respond.

 

(Free AT&T Txt Msg) Error 102-The registered address does not match the actual device location. Call 1-800-331-0500 or visit att.com/3GMicroCell

@Jtuckersc  - the text message is legitimate. It's telling you that AT&T can not verify the physical location of the MicroCell based on the address that was used when it was registered/activated.

 

Are you trying to setup a used MicroCell, have you moved since you registered/activated it, is your internet service land based (cable or DSL)? A little more information would be helpful.

 

Do keep in mind that sales of the MicroCell were discontinued at the end of 2017 because the MicroCell has reached its EOL. The service itself will continue until AT&T begins to transition away from their 3G network. WiFI-C (WiFi Calling) is what we, and AT&T recommend now if your phone is capable.
