Hello @jaymz306,

Unfortunately the Preferred XTRA package is not slated to receive the CNN international channel starting May 19, 2019. However, this may change in the future, so don't lose hope!

If you have any othe questions for us about DirecTV, we'd be more than happy to help!

How come you refuse to give us SNLA to watch the Los Angeles Dodgers?

How come you show the Los Angeles Angels on MLB Extra Innings in the Los Angeles area but black out the Dodgers!

Why do we have to watch a Sports Channel from Las Vegas instead of SNLA?

DirecTV does not refuse to give you SNLA. The problem is that SNLA signed an exclusive agreement for additional cost from one provider. So DirecTV is not given permission to have this channel. So the Dodgers/SNLA wanted to be paid more than other RSNs.

Professional teams being in or out of market, has nothing to do with which TV provider you have. So if you are in the Dodger's market, then even though SNLA is not available on DirecTV, MLB forbids the Extra Innings from providing you Dodger's games because they are still in-market and the Extra Innings is for out of market only.

Unfortunately you are between a rock and a hard place.

DirecTV is not allowed to have SNLA.

MLB Extra Innings cannot show you the Dodgers because they are in-market for you.

The updates on channels can be found here: https://www.att.com/tvchannelupdates/

AT&T gives more deals if you have more of their service. Just natural marketing. I wouldn't expect it to be different with most other companies.

I have been told by other direct tv customers that we will be losing several channels including A&E and the history channel and several others, on Tuesday April 30th. Is this true?

And who will you switch to when the same thing strikes your new provider?

You need to tell A&E Networks to stop being so greedy!

I agree I will be canceling At & T also if they take away A & E.  They already charge to much for their packages.

I believe AT & T are the greedy ones.

Really?  How are they being "greedy"?  They're trying to hold down costs. And I applaud them for that. Too many greedy network owners (in this case, Hearst Communications), think that there's no limit to what we're willing to pay. Well, I for one am not willing to pay more for A&E channels.

SNLA wants more money then DTV and other providers want to pay so there is no contract to carry them and are in market so MLB has to black them out. The Angels are out of market so the games are not blackout

.AT&T needs to know that all people cannot get their phone service.  They give all these deals if you have their phone and Directv together.  They don’t offer anything to Directv customers who don’t have their phone service.  For some of their offers, it was a good price, I would have loved to have taken the offer, but I couldn’t because I have Verizon phone service.  My very first cell phone was with AT&T, they sold my account to Verizon, because they didn’t want to put up an extra cell tower.  I cannot get AT&T service where I live.  I have had Directv service for over 20 years and was always satisfied until they let AT&T take over.  I have had nothing but trouble ever since.  They sent a message to go to a certain website on May 14 of this year for channel updates or something, I have tried and cannot find the page they tell you to go to, again, nothing but trouble with AT&T.  Yes, I have been checking into other satellite offers, because I can’t get cable where I live or I would have already switched, and I do plan on switching.
