Magnavox MWD 2205 Remote Compatibility...

I used the code 20821 to program my Magnavox MWD 2205 VCR/DVD combo. I just have to switch between AV1 for VCR and AV2 for DVD. I looked up another web site and I am unsure of the rules here as I have just created this account but they told exactly how to go about setting this up. I am going to post this here however, if I violate a rule, then I will understand the removal. However, I sincerely hope someone will be able to share how this is done.

OP:

#1- Play a DVD while you are attempting to program the remote.
#2- Switch to AV1 or 2 on your remote.
#3- Press the mute and select button at the same time until AV1 or 2 flashes twice.
#4- Press code 20821 on the remote, then press the PWR Button, then press select.
#5- Press the PWR Button again to turn your TV on.
#6- CH-up and CH-down will run you to your AUX input/Cable/Air channels.

Volume Control

#1- Press the mute and select button at the same time until AV1 or 2 flashes twice.
#2- Press code 9 9 3 on the remote, then press the PWR Button, then press select.
#3- Press the Volume Button Up/Down for control.

My tip to all of you is:

You will have to be on which ever one you set for your VCR (AV1 or AV2) in order to turn it on or off...
