One Eyed HD DVR

I have a HR22-100 used as a secondary unit in Master Suite.  The unit was originally installed with only one input line due to cable run issues.  Two weeks ago I had a Whole-Home / SWM system upgrade.  The system includes a HR24-500 in the home theater, a H24-100 in a guest room and a D12-500 in an office.  Everything works as promised except that the HR22-100 still functions as a one input system.  I was told by both DirecTv agent on the phone and the CSR who did that the installation that HR22-100 would work as a dual line system (record and view separate programs) after the upgrade.  Not so.  I have performed system reset on the HR22-100 without improvement.  Please advise.
