HBO on APPLE TV
If I pay for HBO on my directv service (for in-home TV), do I get an HBO APP that i can put onto my APPLE TV at no additional charge? If so, what is the name of it, and how do I access it? (I used to have this, but I think something has changed)

I use HBO Max on my AppleTV4k and AppleTV4 (HD) but it should be available to the AppleTV app as well. The apps are free.

The app is called HBO Max. If you have a newer Apple TV, you need to download it. If you have an older Apple TV, you’ll only get it when and if Apple updates the app to include it. I have an older Apple TV but I haven’t checked to see if HBO Max has been added.

@sandblaster HBO Max is available on my AppleTV4 (HD only) as well as my AppleTV4k.
