Can’t login with DirectTV app on iPad

I continue to get the following message: Profile ID in UP does not match Profile ID in etoken. I am using the correct username and password, as these work when I log into directtv.com

Have you tried resetting the directv.com password already? 

If resetting your password doesn't work, then your account was likely converted from the old DIRECTV system to AT&T's system. You should have received an email letting you know that you would have to login to att.com to manage your account, and it would let you know your username and provide a temporary password.

If you cannot find that email, please follow the directions to recover your username, and reset your password.

Once you get that information, you'll need to login to att.com to manage your account, and directv.com/entertainment or the DIRECTV App for streaming. You'll use the same information to stream as you do to login to att.com, but you won't be able to manage your account unless you login to att.com.

How long have you been receiving the error? Also, do you login to directv.com for account management, or do you login to att.com to manage your account?

Already did this two times. I spoke to support personnel at ATT and they told me the same thing you did. We reset my password five times. It still doesn’t work. The issue is on your end. I suggest you get your senior IT people involved and fix the bug.

Can no longer sign into directv via the TV provider section or within apps. Works fine in Chrome and Safari, but can't watch because you need to use the app.... What happened?

I'm also having this problem on my iPad. Please help! I can sign in directly to my DirecTV app and ATT app without a problem. The problem is through the Fox News app.

We can help with that app login issue, @GGCalady.

 

If the problem is only happening in the Fox News app, try deleting and reinstalling it first. Then try signing in. If that doesn’t work, check out the steps here. You may need to reset your password and try signing in again. You may also need to sign out of the TV provider on your iPad, and then sign back in.
