2 Direct Tv Dishes on roof( want to take 1 down-which?)
There are 2 Direct TV satellites on the roof of a property we bought= direct tv works- Is there a way I can tell which of the dishes are being utilized - and take the other one down?

Trace the coax cabling from each dish, then disconnect one at a time. When your service drops, you've found the live dish. Leave the mount plate on your roof to avoid leaks. The LNB (electronics on the arm) should be recycled as any other electronics, the dish can recycle as any metal.
