New channel - Retroplex HD
I just noticed a new channel on the U300 tier. Retroplex HD, ch 1916 and the movie currently playing is presented in the original 2.35:1 aspect ratio. Encore Classic, Encore Suspense, and Encore Black have also been added in HD.

This new addition is excellent.
Side note: Seems the basic-cable programmer Turner Classic Movies is airing some movies at the quality level of high definition we are used to seeing in general. Earlier today I was watching the 1964 film Marnie. It looked terrific! And I'm new to noticing this because I sometimes don't think to tune in TCM HD. So, I'm glad this is happening. In general, Turner Classic Movies is a superb programmer. So, for those who watch it far more frequently than I, this is great news as well as RetroPlex HD.
