Ring back tones for iphone

I can add a ring tone, but do not know how to add a ring back tone, music callers hear instead of a ring. Please give simple directions. Thanks!

Welcome to AT&T Community Forums! This is a great question, and I will be more than happy to help!

At this time, AT&T does not currently offer ringback tones. Since we offer HD Voice, this was one of the things that conflicted with the feature. In order for us to have the best sounding phone calls on a daily basis, the ringback tone ability was removed.

You can totally still change the default ringtones and notifications directly through your device! Please check out our AT&T Device Support Center for troubleshooting tutorials and your phone’s user manual.

I think ring backs should be part of the phone people like listening to music while waiting for you to answer.

Ringback tones arnt compatitble with HD voice so nobody will have them soon.

AT&T needs to catch up with the times. Offer ringback tones and provide more cell towers so people don't have to keep getting scammed by you into purchasing the M- Cell tower for better coverage. I've been a customer for almost 20 years and I'm so close to leaving . Verizon seems to have the best coverage and more phone options . Tell your engineers to get on it already or my family will have to move on.
